Waldorf Astoria Hotel | New York, NY

Waldorf Astoria Hotel | New York, NY

Project Description

The Waldorf Astoria by Hilton is a classic symbol of luxury, long favored by presidents and celebrities. It’s the kind of hotel where the architecture, history, and drama all feel larger than life. To improve their luxurious facility, they needed 14 sets of soft-closing hinges.

Each opening uses double doors, and both sides must deliver the same performance. The door leaf is 2 inches thick and weighs 200 lbs each. With Waterson, they get heavy duty soft closing hinges along with an aesthetic that fits their high-class hotel design.

Note: a 4.5″ size will also work on 2″ thickness doors.
However, for the best performance, a 5″x5″ template size is recommended for 1-3/4″ to 2-1/4″ thickness.
