Brooks Camp | King Salmon, Alaska
Project Description
Brooks Camp is famous for watching brown bears fish for salmon during summer runs. They offer ranger programs, easy trails, a visitor center, and a base for exploring by boat or floatplane. The project is an exterior application in an extremely high population of Brown Bears.
Due to the nature of the area, they needed self-closing hinges to ensure that bears can’t get into bathrooms or food caches. The doors are hollow-core exterior aluminum doors 35.5″ wide, 79″ tall, and 1.75″ thick. Waterson self-closing hinges not only provide safety, but also are weatherproof and adjustable, perfect for in nature applications.
