Can the Customer Powder Coat the Waterson Hinge Themselves Without Damaging It?

Regarding the powder coating or spray painting, a simple spray paint application is perfectly fine and will not affect the functionality of the hinges.
However, it is crucial that the customer does NOT disassemble the hinges for the process, as taking them apart will compromise the internal mechanism.
