Waterson’s hold open feature keeps the door open at 85d.   The hex nut located on SB hinge’s end enables and disables the hold open feature. Make sure to locate the SB marking on the leaf before adjusting.  

➤ Use 5mm hex key to enable hold open feature

➤ Turn hex nut clockwise ( – ) to enable hold open turn hex nut counter clockwise ( + ) to disable hold open.

➤ Use 3mm hex wrench to lock the hold open at your desired setting

NOTE: The hex nut will screw into the barrel as you reduce speed.  Conversely, the hex nut will come out as closing speed increases.  The door will stop altogether when the hex nut is tightened all the way.
