Yes. Waterson ships worldwide, including throughout Canada.

Our manufacturing facility is located in Taiwan, and we also maintain operations in the United States. For Canadian orders, we typically recommend shipping directly from Taiwan to Canada rather than routing products through the U.S.

Direct shipment helps avoid unnecessary U.S. importation and re-export costs and can provide a more efficient landed cost for Canadian projects. Our team can recommend the most practical shipping arrangement based on the project size, destination, and delivery requirements.

Are Waterson closer hinges suitable for Canadian fire-rated door applications?

Yes. Waterson closer hinges are cUL certified for use in Canada and are suitable for Canadian fire-rated door applications when used as part of an approved fire-rated door assembly. This provides Canadian architects, hardware consultants, and contractors with a tested closer hinge option for projects requiring fire-rated openings.

What is the typical lead time for Canadian projects?

Our factory maintains inventory for many of our standard closer hinge models, allowing us to support Canadian projects with relatively short lead times.

• For smaller projects (less than 10 sets), the typical lead time is approximately one week.
• For larger projects (more than 10 sets), lead time will depend on the quantity, model, finish, and project requirements. Our team will provide a project-specific delivery schedule with your quotation.
