Project Description

Xencor is a pharmaceutical company developing antibody-based drug candidates for cancer and other serious diseases, using its XmAb protein engineering platform.

The lab is having trouble closing doors due to air balance issues even with a standard surface closer installed. The project manager’s goal is to solve this problem and suggested that the Waterson Hinge is the solution to make the doors close properly and overcome the air balance issue

    1. K51M-450-A3-US32D: full mortise 4.5 inch x 4.5 inch, heavy-duty self-closing hinges, aesthetic look without extrusive arms, 3-hour fire-rated, 304 stainless steel.
    2. K51M-500-A3-US32D: full mortise 5 inch x 5 inch, 304 stainless steel, support heavy-duty, adjustable speed and closing force.
