Ticcoma Green Apartments | Nantucket, MA

Project Description

Ticcoma Green is a 64-unit affordable rental development on Town-owned land at 6 Fairgrounds Road and 4 Waitt Drive, offering 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom homes. For the bid, the hardware package needed to cover 64 doors, each 1¾″ thick, under 7′ × 4′, and weighing up to 260 lb. Each door called for 3 self-closing hinges in a satin brushed US32D finish, plus 2 stops per door to limit opening to 90°

Waterson recommended the K51M-450-B3 hydraulic soft closing hinges paired with the WP01 90° door stop, delivering self-closing and opening control in one coordinated package. The hydraulic closer hinge replaces a surface-mounted closer, giving each door smooth, controlled closing while keeping the door face clean and uncluttered. The WP01 stops cap the swing at 90°, protecting walls, hinges, and adjacent finishes from overextension in high-traffic residential corridors.
