Hard Rock Hotel & Casino| Las Vegas

Project Description

Hard Rock Las Vegas is a landmark transformation of the former Mirage site on the central Las Vegas Strip, featuring a 42-story guitar-shaped tower rising 660 feet with 675 hotel rooms and suites, set to open in Q4 2027. With 700 doors across the project, they needed a hinge package that could deliver reliable, code-compliant self-closing. Key requirements included a 4-hinge-per-door configuration, a built-in 90-degree door stop, fire rating compliance, and a satin bronze color, all confirmed through a sample and mock-up review process before full project approval.

After the mock-up and sample testing, the specification team was convinced by Waterson’s K51M-450-A4 in US10 satin bronze paired with the WP01 90-degree door stop. The all-in-one design eliminates overhead closers, keeps the aesthetic clean, and handles the demands of a high-traffic hospitality environment, making it the natural choice for a 700-door rollout of this scale.
