Project Description

Little Sandy Correctional Complex | Sandy Hook, KY

Project Description

The Little Sandy Correctional Complex (LSCC) is a high-security state prison that focuses on rehabilitation through vocational training and adult education. As part of an expansion project to increase capacity, they added new dorm rooms to their facility.

A total of 420 dorm rooms now utilize Waterson self closing door hinges to ensure a controlled closing every time. By using these hinges for interior applications, the facility maintains durable door performance, preserves safety, and 10+ years of the door hardware.
