Ritz Carlton Resort | Paradise Valley, AZ
Project Description
The Ritz-Carlton Paradise Valleyis a luxury desert resort located at the Paradise Valley and Scottsdale border in Arizona. The project called for 12 sets of interior bedroom door hinges in dark bronze (695) to match the refined look of the guest rooms. During installation, the crew found the sample bedroom door would not adjust to close properly, so the resort needed hardware that delivered self-closing across all 12 door sets.
Waterson recommended the K51M-450-B3 self-closing and soft closing hinge because it builds a controlled closing mechanism directly into the hinge, removing the need for a separate overhead door closer. Its adjustable design let the installer fine-tune the closing speed and force on site, which solved the persistent closing problem on the sample door. The result gives the resort reliable, quiet self-closing performance on every guest bedroom door while keeping a clean, hardware-light appearance that suits the property’s upscale interiors.
