Project Description

DoubleTree Bloomington | Gaithersburg, MD

Project Description

DoubleTree by Hilton is a freshly renovated hotel with swimming pools, a gym, dining, and plenty of event space — great for business or leisure travelers.

The renovation project’s main request was an “invisible stopper” design, a hold open setup with no bulky floor or wall stoppers. To meet this need, the managing company installed Waterson swing clear hinges on 300 doors. With hold-open, swing control, ADA design and hydraulic closing features, every door now operates smoothly and consistently.
