What is PVD Finish
PVD is a durable, real metal finish that is more tarnish-resistant than ordinary steel. This finish has gone through the process of Titanium Ion Plating, which improves the performance of stainless steel by increasing wear, scratch, and corrosion resistance. Addtionally, the hinge’s durability far superior to conventional coating methods such as electroplating or powder-coating.
Stainless steel allows us to produce a glossy, metallic look that when combined with PVD, is desirable to design professionals. In addition, PVD can potentially increase the performance of the surface with little environmental impact. The PVD process doesn’t inhibit the recycle possibility of stainless steel.
