What Material is Required in the Waterpark Application

In environments like this, hinge material decides everything.

304 stainless steel might work for indoor or light exterior use, but in constant contact with chlorides, salt, and chlorine, corrosion starts fast. That’s where 316 stainless steel comes in — an austenitic chromium-nickel alloy containing 2–3 % molybdenum.

That small addition makes a huge difference: it protects against pitting, crevice corrosion, and chemical exposure.
